4th of July Weekend in South Beach

June 30, 2016

July 4th, 2015 will mark the 240th anniversary of when the original thirteen colonies declared their independence from Britain in 1776.

In Miami Beach, we know how to put on a show, and this year’s Fourth of July events promise to deliver all the patriotism and excitement you would expect .

Grab your beach chairs and head over to Eighth St. and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. The 4th of July fireworks in Miami Beach are spectacular, watching the sky lit up above the water in a stunning array of colors and sparks is a mind-blowing and affecting way to end the day, a stirring reflection of what our country stands for.

Here are some other 4th of July Weekend Parties in South Beach:

- Fire on the Fourth Festival

Celebrate our nation’s birthday this year at South Florida’s premier outdoor festival at Miami Beach’s North Shore Bandshell Park on Collins Avenue and 73 Street with day-long entertainment and activities for the entire family.

Take in the funky sounds of the Family Stone at 5 p.m. and legendary rockers Grand Funk Railroad at 7:30 p.m. The event concludes by lighting the night skyline bright with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m.

- Sh!tshow Cool-Aid Party at Story

Story is certainly making the most of the upcoming three-day weekend.
On July 1, LIV and Story co-owner David Grutman will be celebrating his birthday with Sh!tshow Cool-Aid. Last year's party was a starfucker's wet dream with Paris Hilton, Reggie Bush, David Guetta, and Afrojack all in attendance. Cedric Gervais will man the turntables for this year's celebration, and if Grutman's Kanye- and Kim-filled wedding was any indication, celebrity guests are sure to pour in by the dozens.
