Coffee time!

April 20, 2016

Not all is drinking and partying in South Beach, how about a cup of coffee. Miami is a relative neophyte to specialty coffee, but several roasters have paved the way for a coffee renaissance. Here’s a sampling of the beach town’s best bets for coffee shops.

As a self-proclaimed coffee aficionado, Panther Coffee holds it down strong like a double espresso as my #1 coffee joint in Miami! The coffee here is smooth and needs minimal sweetener. In addition, the coffee bar offers turbinado and simple syrup, a coffee lovers dream. I usually order an Ice Latte, is delicious. Definitely worth visit for a great coffee experience.

Nespresso Bar, Miami's flagship store, is an excellent place to get great coffee, sit outside on comfortable chairs and enjoy people watching on Lincoln Road. The only downside about this place is the fact that it's a bit pricey.

Another perfect people watching spot on Lincoln Road is Segafredo L'Originale. Italian espresso rules here but you can order any kind of coffee. If you want to be in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the heart of South Beach, then you are in the right place.

Finally, I couldn't forget one of my favorite coffee shops in town. Actually is located down the street from us, on Espanola Way. A La Folie is an authentic Parisian cafe that will make you feel like you've taken a trip to the city of love - a perfect setting for an informal, yet romantic date, is your escape in the middle of Miami Beach.
