Stay In The Know
August 08, 2016 Miami Beach may be known for its gorgeous beaches littered with sexy people but even beach bums have to eat. Miami is full of great places to satisfy even the craziest of cravings. Here are a few of the best places according to our staff at El Paseo Hotel.
Make Miami Your Foodie Haven
Yardbird Southern Table and Bar – Sweet tea, biscuits, and fried chicken are the backbone of this Miami Beach establishment. Brightly lit spaces and service with a smile only add to the charm of this little slice of southern charm. Yardbird is located right on the beach making it a prime spot so make reservations before going. Make sure you try the fried chicken smothered in their special sauce – a mixture of Crystal hot sauce and honey.
Eating House – For five star food with a quaint and cozy hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, make reservations for brunch at Eating House in Coral Gables. While this popular restaurant is a 25 minute drive from El Paseo Hotel, it will be well worth it for a taste of Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli’s famous Cap’n Crunch pancakes.
Toni’s Sushi Bar – Less than ten minutes away from the steps of our hotel, is South Beach’s oldest sushi bar. Satisfying customers since 1987, Toni’s is the go to spot for great, affordable sushi.
Cleo (South Beach) – If tapas, dance music, and laughter are must haves for a great dining experience then Cleo is the place for you. Tasty Mediterranean food meets a chic and trendy atmosphere at this South Beach eatery. Order the Brussel sprouts and you won’t be sorry.
Food trucks – Miami is full of delicious food trucks that cater to all sorts of foods from creative grilled cheese by Ms. Cheezious or Cuban burgers from El Rey de las Fritas. There are always food truck events happening in Miami Beach so be sure to look them up for your trip.
If you still want to experience a foodie adventure but you aren’t willing to make the drive, don’t worry. El Paseo Hotel is located near more than fifteen different restaurants and bars that are more than capable of fueling your foodie desires.
