Whether you liked or disliked this hotel, I agree with you. In the heart of South Beach on a pedestrian street. It depends on location of your room whether or not you hear a lot of street noise. We were in the two-bedroom suite, which worked well for us. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable and the rooms spacious. The room looks like the pictures - but I agree that they look better in the pictures. The futon bed was terribly uncomfortable. They should be replaced, or offer a mattress topper to make it a level surface. There was a loud clapping noise that we could not figure where it was coming from. It seem to be coming from the AC unit. It was most annoying at night, but was most noticeable to the person sleeping on the futon in the common area. Neither the cable or WiFi worked well. The staff seemed indifferent about our comments about it. It was an advertised amenity, so a little empathy would have been nice, we did not spend a lot of time in the room, but did need the internet on occasion. I should mention that our building had an elevator. No pool, but you are close to the beach. Overall it was a nice hotel with an old world charm. It suited our needs for the long weekend. In general, the staff were pleasant. It's a decent choice if you want to be on South Beach

The staff was amazing

Guys don't go to anywhere else, go to El Paseo hotel. Louis is the GM, he was very helpful, friendly and professional. He upgraded my room with no extra charges just because I have told him that I had a bad day, help and advice me to visit attractions in Miami, and even sent Ruddy with the addresses written on a paper to my room. Ruddy is one of the nicest workers in the hotel and the receptionist is nice too. Overall it the right place to stay at. The service was priceless. Thank you Louis you made my day
